Escambia County District 4 Commissioner Robert Bender presented FF Halfacre with an official proclamation, while also receiving a Certificate of Recognition from the office of Rep. Michelle Salzman.

FF Halfacre, reflecting on his time with ECFR, spoke on what it takes to be a firefighter in Escambia County: "It takes a lot of mentality. You need to hold yourself to a higher standard. You need to be willing to step up to the plate if you want to be a firefighter today."
