Pittsburgh, PA - Penn Hills No. 7 VFC and mutual aid companies were dispatched to a reported smoke condition inside a residence on Michigan Road.

Arriving units found smoke and fire showing from the exterior corner of the home, while police confirmed all occupants were safely accounted for. Engine and truck companies quickly deployed attack lines and established a water supply as crews initiated an aggressive interior fire attack.

Additional personnel were assigned to roof ventilation to relieve heat and smoke, supporting suppression efforts. Firefighters operated for an extended period before bringing the incident under control.

The fire was extinguished without reported injuries, and the cause remains under investigation by the fire marshal.
