RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ - A worker sustained a severe head injury after falling face-first at a Bergen Turnpike construction site around 11:00 A.M. on the morning of July 11th. The worker fell from the top floor to the floor below. Ridgefield Park firefighters, using Ladder 2's aerial, lowered the victim in a stokes basket to EMS personnel. Teaneck firefighters assisted along with the Bogota F.D The worker was rushed to Hackensack University Medical Center. OSHA was notified and village police are investigating.
