BINGHAMTON, NY - On July 5th, the Prospect Terrace Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle fire along Route 17 East, where crews encountered a car fully involved upon arrival. Firefighters from Squad 63 promptly deployed a hose line and initiated an aggressive fire attack, successfully bringing the blaze under control within minutes. Despite the complete loss of personal belongings, all occupants were able to escape without injury. Their safe exit was made possible by the quick actions of a young man, whose efforts played a critical role in ensuring everyone made it out safely.
