NEWBURGH, NY - Middle Hope Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle rollover MVA on July 8th at the entrance to the Powelton Club on Balmville Road. Town of Newburgh Police and Town of Newburgh EMS were on scene. Firefighters extricated the driver of the overturned vehicle after the driver's leg became trapped beneath the dashboard. Crews also stabilized the vehicle using cribbing. Town of Newburgh EMS transported the driver to Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. New York State Police assisted with traffic control, while Town of Newburgh Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
