Junior Firefighter Nickolas Hammel received recognition from the Seville Volunteer Fire Company on June 5th for successfully completing his Module 4 Interior Firefighter training.

According to officials, Hammel is almost ready to graduate from Pittsburgh Public CAPA High School as a member of the Class of 2026 after completing his Firefighter I written exam. According to department commanders, striking a balance between academic obligations and firefighter training demonstrates a strong dedication to both public service and personal growth.
