FAIR LAWN, NJ - Damage to a residence at 25-14 Kipp Street was kept to a minimum after a fire in the rear broke out shortly before 11:00 A.M. on June 21st. Fire and heavy smoke was visible as the first Chief and Engine 4 arrived. Two lines were stretched down the driveway and one in the front door. A second-alarm was transmitted for manpower. The roof was laddered. The fire was quickly knocked down with only minor extension to the home itself. No one was injured, and the cause is under investigation.
