Attleboro, MA - Attleboro Fire Department crews responded after a vehicle left the roadway, traveled through a wooded area, and came to rest in a residential backyard.

Firefighters arrived to find the vehicle off Captain Courtois Road, with the sole occupant, a man in his seventies, located outside on the ground. Crews immediately began providing medical care before transporting him to Rhode Island Hospital.

The vehicle had traveled approximately 75 feet through the woods, damaging a fence and passing through a fire pit before stopping. Despite the distance and obstacles, the outcome was less severe than it could have been.

No firefighter injuries were reported, and crews remained on scene to manage the incident and ensure the area was safe.
