Providence, RI The Chopmist Hill Volunteer Fire Department responded mutual aid to a house fire on Audubon Lane in Coventry. Tanker 61 assisted with the tanker shuttle operation while crew members supported overhaul and extinguishment efforts.

Seven members operated on scene for approximately four hours, while two additional firefighters remained at Station 60 to provide district coverage.

The department also handled an EMS call and a gas leak during a busy operational period. Thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted by the incident, and the department extends its heartfelt condolences to those affected.
