BROOKLYN, NY - Brooklyn Firefighters needed a Third Alarm to battle a late afternoon church fire in the Bushwick Section of Brooklyn on June 19th. The church, also known as the South Bushwick Reformed Church, was finished in 1853.  

First arriving companies to Kossuth Place and Bushwick Avenue were met with a heavy body of fire on the upper floors of the wooden structure. The historic church was destroyed by the fast-moving blaze.
