Shelton, CT - Firefighters and EMS responded to Leavenworth Road for a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle that had gone over a steep embankment and was left suspended, held in place by a wire barrier.

Crews secured the vehicle using rescue struts and a grip hoist to stabilize it before safely removing the occupant. The patient was evaluated on scene by EMS personnel. The incident was successfully brought under control without further injury.
