Weston Firefighters Quickly Contain Dumpster Fire on Kellogg Hill Road
Weston, CT - Firefighters responded to a residence on Kellogg Hill Road after reports of a dumpster fire in the driveway area. Upon arrival, crews found an active fire involving the contents of a dumpster located on the property. Firefighters quickly deployed hose lines and brought the fire under control before it could spread to nearby exposures.
After extinguishment, crews remained on scene to conduct overhaul operations, breaking apart smoldering debris and ensuring no hidden fire remained.
A total of 29 firefighters responded to the incident with multiple engines assigned. Weston EMS and Weston Police also stood by and assisted as needed while crews operated. The fire was fully extinguished without extension to nearby structures.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
