Tractor-Trailer Rollover Brought Multi-Agency Response to Tyrone Pike

Tyrone, Pa. — June 16 — Neptune Fire Company was called to a reported tractor-trailer rollover in the 6500 block of Tyrone Pike in Snyder Township. Within a minute of being dispatched, Engine 34 and Chief Andrew Walls arrived with a crew of five. Firefighters arrived and verified that a tractor-trailer had veered off the road and rolled onto its side. Crews promptly ascertained that neither entrapment nor injuries were present.
Bald Eagle Volunteer Fire Company Chief Oswalt created command and oversaw operations. While the car was stabilized and retrieval procedures were underway, firefighters stayed on the scene for around three hours. PennDOT stopped Route 350 to promote safe operations, while nearby fire agencies offered additional support.
