Mutual Aid Response Included Engine 34 at Motorcycle Accident

Tyrone, Pa. — June 5 — At the scene of a motorcycle collision, Neptune Fire Company Engine 34 arrived to help Station 36. To protect the area, control traffic, and assist with patient care operations, firefighters collaborated with EMS and law enforcement officers. Additionally, crews looked for dangers and assisted in keeping emergency responders' work areas safe.
Due to traffic issues and the possibility of severe injuries, motorcycle incidents frequently call for a coordinated response from several authorities. According to department officials, the incident showed how important it is for responding agencies to communicate effectively and form mutual aid agreements. Operations were finished without any more problems when the scene was stabilized.
