Martin, FL - Martin County Fire Rescue crews responded to a brush fire in the area of Southeast Federal Highway and Southeast Osprey Street in Stuart. The fire burned approximately a quarter acre and involved heavy fuel, allowing it to burn hotter and longer due to dense vegetation.

Crews quickly brought the fire under control and extinguished all remaining hot spots. Light smoke may still be visible in the area.

No injuries were reported, and no structures or utilities were threatened. The cause remains under investigation.
