Tower 42 Supports Ventilation Operations at Structure Fire

Members of the Adams Area Fire District Station 42 and other mutual aid organizations responded to a reported structure fire in Harmony Borough at around 12:03 p.m. on May 19.
Chief 22 confirmed a working attic fire when he arrived on the scene, according to officials. With a team of four firefighters, Tower 42 responded and was tasked with roof operations, helping Tower 21 with ventilation. The crew was instructed to perform an overhaul and put out any residual hot spots in the third floor and attic region after ventilation operations.
Before the situation was under control and the units were put back into action, firefighters labored for slightly under two hours. Companies 22, 90, 62, Beaver Station 70, and Beaver Station 52 were among the departments that provided assistance on the incident.
