Shirley NY. – On the Afternoon of May 21st, the Suffolk County Police 7th precinct along with Mastic EMS were dispatched for a report of a motor vehicle crash on Lawrence Rd at Hounslow St. Mastic Ambulance 1st Responders 5-37-80, 5-37-81 and Ambulance 5-37-17 responded to the scene along with multiple SCPD units. On arrival they found a 2car collision. Police worked to make sure the vehicles were moved off to the side of the road as much as possible so they would not block traffic and potentially cause a secondary crash. No fluids had appeared to leak from the vehicles. Mastic Ambulance personnel checked on the drivers and occupants of the vehicles. 1 person was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
