Vernon Crews Respond to Trampoline Injury with Air Medical Transport

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Vernon Fire Department responded to a medical emergency involving a patient who sustained neck and back injuries while on a trampoline.

Out of an abundance of caution, air medical transport was requested while units were en route. Vernon Fire and Rescue Inc. worked together to safely remove the patient from the backyard and transfer them to an ambulance in the driveway.

The patient was then transported to a landing zone established at the baseball field near Pond Rd & Huckle Hill, where they were transferred to a helicopter for further care.

Strong coordination between responding agencies helped ensure a smooth and efficient patient transfer.
