ATTLEBORO, MA - Attleboro firefighters responded to a reported fire in a pizza restaurant on Park Street, arriving to find heavy smoke conditions from the occupancy, May 23rd.

Crews made a rapid interior attack using portable extinguishers, bringing the fire under control within minutes. The restaurant, attached to a multi-family residential building, experienced smoke extension; however, firefighters successfully prevented fire spread to the adjoining residences.

Utilities to the restaurant were secured, and the scene was turned over for investigation, with damage primarily contained to the area around a fryer. No injuries were reported.

Mutual aid companies provided station coverage during the incident.
