On Saturday, 5/24/25 at 6:02 pm the Windham Fire Department was dispatched to 344 Bricktop Road, Apartment 2 for an oven fire. Car 204 arrived at 6:09 with smoke showing from the second floor of a 2.5 story wood frame dwelling and transmitted the working fire. The first alarm added a Willimantic Ambulance and Yantic FAST.
Engine 103 stretched a line while Engine 204 got the water supply. Companies held the fire to the second floor and checked for extension. The Windham Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
