Fire districts 17 and 16, as well as Lake Harmony Ambulance, responded to a brush fire on Lehigh Drive in Pocono Mountain Lakes on April 25.

Firefighters put out a roughly 50-by-50-foot mound of flaming brush and stumps, according to officials. As part of suppression efforts, crews also chopped down and put out a blazing tree. Before resolving the situation, firefighters stayed on the scene for slightly over an hour. There were no reported injuries.
