East Farmingdale Crews Handle Busy Day of Emergencies

During a hectic day of operations on April 24, members of the East Farmingdale Volunteer Fire Company responded to numerous emergencies.


According to officials, the day started with a mutual assistance response to a working home fire at North Babylon Volunteer Fire Company. Later, crews handled many rescue calls throughout the district, including a cardiac arrest episode, in addition to responding to a brush fire.


The agency reported that EMS and firemen continued to work throughout the day, striking a balance between emergency medical services and fire control.
