South Farmingdale Crews Responded to Overturned Vehicle

SOUTH FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — 25th April — Members of the South Farmingdale Fire Department, 819 S. During a torrential downpour, Main Street in South Farmingdale, New York, 11735, responded to an overturned car on James Street. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they discovered that the car was resting upside down. They secured it so that workers could safely move around the incident site.


Additionally, Nassau County Police arrived to help with both the investigation and traffic management. Nassau County Police and a nearby towing company were tasked with up righting and removing the vehicle when the scene was stabilized. Rainy weather, according to officials, made it more difficult for emergency personnel working on the scene.
