At 9:50PM on Sunday, 5/17/2020 the Taftville Fire Department was dispatched to 303 Mohegan Park Road Lot 22 for a mobile home fire. While responding, dispatch said the police are on scene reporting fire from the rear of the trailer so Car 2 filled out the working fire assignment with an engine from Occum, Yantic and the Mohegan Tribal FAST. Engine 21 arrived at 9:57 and stretched a one and three quarter inch hose line down the delta side and darkened down the exterior fire that had also spread to a shed. Engine 22 laid a supply line from the entrance to the trailer park which fed Engine 21. There were no injuries and the Norwich Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
