The Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department was called to Passaic Avenue at around 5:15 a.m. on May 2nd in response to a rollover motor vehicle collision with entrapment.

One person was trapped inside an overturned car when Squad 1, Rescue 3, and Engine 1 arrived. Firefighters stabilized the car and attempted to safely remove the patient from the wreckage, according to officials. The agency also expressed gratitude to public safety partners and responding members for their well-coordinated reaction to the crisis.
