On May 13, in the late afternoon, the Closter Volunteer Fire Department responded to a second alarm mutual assistance assignment for a house fire in the Borough of Norwood using its ladder truck.
Closter workers supported activities on the scene as part of the regional mutual aid response, according to officials.
