North Bellport N.Y - At approximately 1:48 PM the Hagerman Fire Department was toned out for a reported brush fire in the woods at Hampton Ave & Bourdios Ave. The first chief on the road was 2nd assistant chief Corey Citarella (5-10-32) and was advised by Fire-com that there was a fire in the woods. On arrive chief Citarella had a fire in the woods and advised his in coming brush truck (5-10-12) to head in and start knocking down the fire. While on scene chief Citarella radioed back to dispatch and asked to notify North Patchogue Fire Department for a brush truck to the scene to help with mop up and hitting all the hot spots.The fire was put out and all units were back in service within hour and 30 minutes of being activated.
