ALBURTIS, PA - On May 11th around 3:00 p.m., the Lower Macungie Fire Department, Topton Fire Company and Greenawalds Fire Company for RIT and Macungie EMS were dispatched for a structure fire in the rear of 133 West 2nd St., in the borough of Alburtis. An Alburtis P. D. car arrived and called in a working garage fire. Chief 30 arrived, confirmed a working fire and Engine-Tanker 1 arrived and went into service with two hand lines to to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is pending the investigation by the fire marshal.
