Allegheny, PA - The Gallatin Sunnyside Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle accident into a tree with fire conditions on Williamsport Road.

While units were en route, additional reports indicated the vehicle was on fire and rolling backward into a field. The first-due engine arrived to find a well-involved engine compartment fire extending into the passenger area.

Firefighters deployed an attack line and quickly brought the fire under control, remaining on scene to extinguish hot spots and ensure the vehicle was fully secured.
