Rear-End Collision Blocks Northbound Lane on Route 9W

Emergency crews were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W in Coeymans this past Mother’s Day.
A report of a head-on collision was dispatched in the area of 1737 Route 9W in Coeymans just before 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 9.
Coeymans Fire Department, Ravena Rescue, Albany County Paramedics, Albany County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call.
The crash turned out to be a rear-end collision.
The northbound lane was blocked off while firefighters secured the car and for the tow truck to remove the vehicle from the roadway.
The other vehicle involved pulled into a driveway.
No occupants of either vehicle claimed any injuries and refused medical treatment.
Once the car was removed from the roadway, all units cleared the scene and the northbound lane was reopened.
