Cronomer Valley FD responded to Thruway on ramp northbound from Plattekill Rest Area. Tracor trailer was spilling
olive oil. New York State Police was at scene-area was blocked at rest area while trac/trailer was backing off. Firefighters made a berm
once tractor trailer backed off in berm area-trailer was parked inside berm. Winona Lake FD assisted Cronomer Valley at scene. Good Will
FD stood by in Cronomer Valley Quarters. New York State Police Vehicle Enforcement Team Member was at scene. New York State Police
and Thruway Authority are investigating the incident.
