Mutual Aid Crews Respond to Residential Fire in Freehold

JACKSON, N.J. — May 6th — Members of Jackson Township Fire District No. 4 responded to a residential structure fire in Freehold Township that had multiple alarms. For several hours, crews worked on the scene, advancing several handlines during suppression efforts and helping with water supply operations in an area without municipal hydrants.


For the duration of the incident, firefighters also forced garage doors before switching to Rapid Intervention Team activities. Additionally, Jackson Township Fire District No. 3 Station 55 firefighters were recognized by officials for protecting the neighborhood and covering the district as crews remained dedicated to the fire scene.
