Multi-County Response Brings Brush Fire Under Control on Sardis Road

Plum, PA - The Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department responded with ATV 236, Utility 236, and Engine 236 to a reported brush fire along Sardis Road.


Upon arrival, crews worked alongside fire units from both Allegheny and Westmoreland counties to contain and extinguish the rapidly spreading fire.


Utilizing specialized off-road apparatus, firefighters were able to access difficult terrain and establish control lines to stop the fire’s progression.


The coordinated multi-county response ensured a quick and effective operation, highlighting the importance of interagency cooperation during brush fire incidents.
