Crabtree Firefighters Secured Scene After Vehicle Crash

CRABTREE, PA. — April 6th — Rescue personnel and firefighters from the Crabtree Fire Department responded to a multi-vehicle collision on a two-lane road. While EMS assessed individuals involved, arriving responders discovered at least one passenger car with moderate rear-end damage and started helping with scene safety, traffic management, and hazard assessment.


In order to properly reopen the road, firefighters secured the area, checked the cars for fluid leaks, and helped with debris cleanup. In order to stabilize the vehicles and keep an eye out for any new dangers, rescue workers collaborated with other responding organizations. One of the most frequent emergency situations that local fire departments in the area deal with is motor vehicle wrecks.
