JACKSON, N.J. — April 9th — On Reed Road in Jackson Township, firefighters from the Department Cassville Volunteer Fire Company #1 responded to a reported building fire. When units arrived, they discovered that a camper trailer was heavily involved in a fire, posing a hazard to multiple neighboring automobiles and another camper. While mutual aid organizations helped with suppression and overhaul operations, crews swiftly laid handlines to limit the fire and safeguard nearby property.

During the incident, workers from the tanker and ladder company assisted with fireground operations and water supplies. Before being released by the incident commander, firefighters finished their overhaul and looked for extensions. There were no reported injuries. The reaction demonstrated how local agencies continued to work together during Jackson Township's emergency operations.
