Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company No. 2's FAST (Firefighter Assist and Search Team) firefighters responded to a working structure fire on Lincris Avenue in South Wall on June 16.

While firemen from the South Wall Fire Rescue, Glendola Fire Company, and Wall Fire Company No. 1 tried to put out a fire in a home's garage, officials claimed the FAST Team was called to the site.

While members of the FAST Team were ready to offer firefighter rescue assistance if necessary, crews swiftly contained the fire. South Wall Fire Command removed the FAST assignment from the scene when the situation was controlled and the fire was deemed under control.
