Tamarac Fla; We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the first Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class of 2025 in Tamarac! 11 dedicated residents have now graduated from this comprehensive program, equipping them with vital skills and knowledge in a range of emergency response areas.

This intense training was packed with invaluable emergency activities and educational opportunities, preparing these new CERT members to make a real difference when it matters most. From tackling fire safety and providing emergency medical assistance, to search and rescue techniques and understanding incident command, they are ready to step up and assist our community during times of need.

Think back to the tornado event we witnessed in 2024 – these newly trained individuals will be a crucial asset in the aftermath of such incidents. Whether here in Tamarac or deployed throughout the state following a natural disaster. Their preparedness strengthens our community's resilience and our ability to support one another.
