The Monmouth Beach Fire Department responded to a multiple car collision on Ocean Avenue on April 17 at around 6:00 p.m. with auto-aid from Sea Bright Fire Rescue.

When the crews arrived, they discovered a two-car collision with one vehicle flipped. The driver and passenger were removed from the car by firefighters from units 33 and 43. Until the car was removed, fire units stayed on the scene to mitigate hazards and guarantee scene safety.

Monmouth Beach EMS assessed and treated the casualties on the spot. The Monmouth Beach Police Department is looking into the collision. Authorities requested that anybody with information call 732-229-1313.
