Vehicle Rolls Onto Sidewalk in Mastic

Mastic Ny – On Sunday May 3rd 2020 at about 7:11 AM the Mastic Fire Department and Mastic Ambulance received a dispatch from Fire Rescue for a vehicle crash on William Floyd Parkway Near Roberts Rd. Chief Rudy Sunderman was the first to arrive on scene and advised responding units that he had a confirmed overturn, but no one was trapped.
Units 5-12-1 and 5-12-10 responded with full crews and on arrival the crew members were asked to ensure the vehicle which was on its side was secured. Firefighters also put down speedy dry to clean up fluids. Mastic Ambulance checked out the driver who was out of the vehicle on arrival. She refused medical transport. Mastic Fire Police and Suffolk Police 7th Pct officers assisted with traffic control while firefighters operated.
