On April 5, units from the Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company, Crescent Hose Company, and Fuller Hose Company #1 responded to a car accident near the intersection of Cole Road and Findley Lake Road.

When Chief 211 arrived, they discovered two cars with moderate damage, one of which had overturned on its roof. Operations were set up by crews from Squad 217, Rescue Engine 204, Heavy Rescue 208, Squad 707, and EMS units. They started patient triage and care while getting residents ready for transport to nearby hospitals.

The route was closed by Greenfield Township fire police, giving responders a secure working area. Before clearing the area, firefighters and EMS workers stayed on the scene for about an hour to finish medical care and clean up the road.
