On April 11, the Clearfield Fire Department responded to a building fire on the west side of the town.

When crews arrived, they discovered that the homeowner had mostly put out a minor fire on the back porch of a second-floor flat. In order to completely wet the area and stop rekindling, firefighters examined for extension and used a water can. Before all units were put back into operation, the Quint and Squad worked on the scene.
