At 1818 hrs, Pasco Fire and Rescue received a call for a structure fire on Lancer Rd. Engines 20 39 21, Truck 1, Ladder 19 tanker 20 responded. A heavy loop up of black smoke could be seen for miles. Engine 20 and Tanker 20 first due encountered a large debris pile and brush moving quickly behind the dwelling. Two lines were stretched to knock down the heavy fire and brush. Other companies arrived on scene to assist with suppression of the pile and the overhauling. The fire was contained and knocked down within 20 minutes.
