Citrus, FL - Citrus County Fire Rescue quickly contained an RV fire that destroyed a travel trailer and carport while preventing the flames from spreading to nearby property.
Firefighters arrived to find the RV fully engulfed beneath a carport, with fire extending into nearby brush. Rapid suppression efforts stopped the fire from spreading beyond the immediate area.
Investigators determined the fire originated in the RV's electrical system. No injuries were reported.
