Fire Quickly Knocked in Old Gas Station

On Sunday, April 27th at 8:55 pm the East Brooklyn and Mortlake Fire Departments with Danielson ET 161, South Killingly Engine 165, Atwood FAST and Attawaugan FAST were dispatched to 592 Providence Road for a structure fire. Car 192 arrived at 9:01 reporting smoke showing from the A/D corner.
An 1.75" hose line was stretched from Engine 192 and the fire was quickly knocked down in the abandoned gas station. The Brooklyn Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
