Aston Crews Handle 6 Fire Incidents in 24 Hours

ASTON TOWNSHIP, PA — April 13th — Over the course of a day, the Aston Township Fire Department responded to six fire occurrences.


In the afternoon, the Concordville Fire & Protective Association received assistance from the Engine, Utility, and ATV at a sizable brush fire on Cottonwood Drive in Concord Township. For several hours, crews worked with the Pennsylvania Forestry Service and mutual aid agencies to contain the fire.


Later that night, units went to a structure fire at the Crum Creek Valley Condos in Nether Providence Township. On the second level, they discovered a kitchen-related fire with a lot of smoke.


The next day, Squad 17 helped the Upper Chichester Fire Department extricate a patient from a car accident involving entrapment.
