HANOVER, NH — Hanover Fire Department units responded to a fire alarm activation and arrived to find a kitchen fire with smoke conditions throughout the building.

Recognizing the conditions, crews upgraded the response to a first alarm and stretched a hose line for an interior attack.

Firefighters quickly located the seat of the fire and brought it under control, preventing further extension beyond the kitchen area.

Damage was kept to a minimum as crews completed overhaul and ventilation, ensuring the building was safe before clearing the scene.
