RUMNEY, NH — Rumney Fire Department responded with automatic mutual aid from Plymouth Fire-Rescue and Wentworth Fire Department to a reported appliance fire with smoke inside a building on Water Street.
Due to limited access, incoming units were strategically staged, including establishing a water supply at a nearby dry hydrant. First-arriving crews found an oven fire that had already been extinguished, with no extension to the structure.
Officials emphasized that automatic mutual aid ensures adequate personnel and resources are in place early, supporting efficient fireground operations.
