Garbage Truck Fire Quickly Contained in East Rutherford

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - On April 21st at 11:30 A.M., the East Rutherford Fire Department was sent to Morton Street on a report of one of the town's garbage trucks on fire.
Upon the fire department's arrival, the driver dumped the contents of the garbage out on the ground, helping to save the truck itself from catching on fire.
Just after extinguishing that fire, they were dispatched to Rte. 17 and Union Ave. on a report of a car fire.
