Oneco , CT - Oneco Fire Company responded mutual aid with Western Coventry Fire Department and Sterling Fire/Rescue to a brush fire that burned approximately three acres during elevated fire conditions.
A crew of 10 members operated on scene for about two hours, assisting with containment and overhaul before returning to quarters.
Officials remind residents to check daily fire danger levels and use caution during spring cleanup to help prevent fires.
