FANWOOD, NJ, March 27th — A car crash damaging a utility pole prompted the Fanwood Fire Department to go to North Avenue. The local Rescue Squad and the Fanwood Police Department worked with Engine 7 and Ladder 1. Crews that arrived first secured the area and evaluated any electrical threats as well as the damaged pole.
